We are pleased to announce a Leadership-As-Practice (L-A-P) Research Workshop for new scholars of leadership-as-practice. The workshop will be held twice to encourage scholars from different time zones to participate. New scholars could be doctoral, early career, or researchers in transition. This workshop is endorsed by the ODC Division of the Academy of Management.
Our intention is to build a support network for ongoing scholarship in this new and exciting field as it contributes to, and in some cases, "re-forms" leadership theory and practice.
During the three-hour online workshop conducted on Zoom, new L-A-P researchers will meet with senior coaches to delve into collaborative work projects, peer review, field studies, and practical applications. These new scholars will assemble with the coaches in small ratios to provide the greatest opportunity for individual attention and feedback. New L-A-P scholars can apply by filling out a short application here.

10:00 – 10:45 Presentation on L-A-P foundations followed by suggestions of ripe areas for future L-A-P research
Short presentation on current work-in-process by L-A-P researcher
10:45 – 12:00 Researchers assemble with L-A-P coaches in breakouts to discuss their project and receive feedback
12:00 – 12:45 Researchers form into topic-based breakout groups for sharing and future networking
Coaches assemble to share learnings and future plans
