Join Us for the SAP Community Day 2025 at EGOS: Celebrating 20 Years of Strategy-as-Practice at EGOS: Honoring the Past, Creating the Future

Mark your calendars for July 2, 2025, from 09:00 to 13:00 EEST for this year's SAP Community Day, a Pre-Colloquium Development Workshop (PDW) at this year's EGOS colloquium in Athens.

As in previous years, the SAP Community Day 2025 consists of two parts:

Part one features paper development roundtable sessions, where participants have the opportunity to discuss their current research with leading SAP scholars including Waldemar Kremser, Jane Lê, Sotirios Paroutis, Birgit Renzl, Virpi Sorsa, Paul Spee, Eero Vaara, Mike Zundel. Participants will submit their papers prior to the session, briefly present their core ideas and the challenges they are currently facing, and receive feedback from the allocated roundtable hosts. Ideas and/or papers on all topics and theoretical perspectives are welcome (thus, there is no need to explicitly relate to the focus topic of Part 2). We particularly encourage submissions that challenge, question, or propose novel directions for exploration in SAP and beyond.

Part two will be facilitated by Violetta Splitter as we celebrate SAP. Featuring an interactive panel of renowned scholars including Paula Jarzabkowski, Gerry Johnson, David Seidl and Richard Whittington. There will be opportunities for networking and reflection as we celebrate the creative and lasting impact of strategizing and organizing practices – and where we're headed next!

Apply by April 30th via the EGOS website: [More information here]

If you have any questions, contact Christoph Brielmaier, Christian Bruck, Jessica Crewe-Brown, Robin Engelbach, Rebecca Lu, David Montens, Kristina Stoiber,  Violetta Splitter, or Winky Wu.

We hope to see you there!
