The Aarhus Practice and Process Symposium is an annual event with the goal of building an open and inclusive local community of scholars who are engaged in (Strategy-as-) Practice and Process research.

This year’s theme "Organizing and strategizing for the future" will explore how practice and process theory can inform organizing, strategizing, innovating, and managing in the face of near- and long-term futures and challenges.

We invite early career scholars (PhD, postdoc, assistant professors) from Nordic universities to participate.

The symposium takes place at the inspiring Moesgaard Museum and will be held on May 8 with a dinner for speakers and participants and opportunities for informal networking on May 7.

The program features round tables and inspiring keynotes. Keynote speakers are:

    • Kathrin Sele (Aalto University)
    • Matthias Wenzel (Leuphana University)
    • Julia Grimm (Stockholm University)
    • Tor Hernes (Copenhagen Business School)

Please submit a 250-500 words motivation, incl. your experience with practice and/or process theory and research, via this link by March 1st, 2025.

Participation is free of charge and acceptance includes reimbursement of travel and accommodation expenses for one night up to 1,900DKK/250€.

We will accept applications on a rolling basis. Spots are limited so don’t wait too long!

    Yours sincerely,

    The organizing team
