I'd like to call your attention to the newly launched Ideactio Centre for Foresight Research and Consulting, based in Singapore but internationally operating.

This venture is a university-affiliated research-intensive strategic foresight consultancy. Indeed, the first and foremost core value of the centre is rigor & relevance. The ethos of the centre is to produce high impact scientific research on futures and foresight practices and processes in organizations, which can in turn inform problem-driven, highly practical consulting work. Concurrently, the consulting projects of the centre provide opportunities to collect data for research.

The centre is currently supported by a team of designers, facilitators, UX experts, illustrators, as well as a growing sounding board of experts in organizational foresight and adjacent fields such as psychology, political science, philosophy, history, organizational behavior, strategic management and public policy analysis, among other fields. We engage sounding board members on a project basis for problem-driven, impact-focused research on foresight antecedents, methods, processes, and outcomes, as well as research projects on scenarios of the futures of sustainability, artificial intelligence, capitalism, food, and governance, among other themes.

If you are a faculty member/PhD student who would like to be part of a group of multidisciplinary researchers interested in studying organizational foresight or its outcomes and in publishing impactful research, reach out to us for more information on how to be part of our sounding board/research associates. We offer bursaries for research associates with experience in foresight research and practice.
