We invite you to our upcoming Professional Development Workshop (PDW) titled "Financial Technology and the Emerging Digital Money Market: What Can we Learn From Africa?" During this PDW academic and industry experts will delve into the dynamic realm of FinTech and the nascent digital money market, with a particular focus on Africa's pioneering advancements in this market. We will contrast the learning from Africa with the experience from other contexts (e.g. Europe, Asia and North America). Join us as we explore the implications and uncover opportunities for further research in the areas of strategy, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, innovation, and societal grand challenges.

The first segment involves academic speakers and industry speakers, who will draw from their own experiences and research to delve into challenges and opportunities.

    • Panel part 1: Insights from industry actors (with industry speakers)
    • Panel part 2: Insights from research (with academic speakers)
