    I'd like to call your attention to a very important conversation about a very pressing problem in management & organization studies. Management suffers from a "wicked' problem" made up of many interconnected problems: an obsession with theory; journals' impact factors are wrongly used to judge the value of individual researchers; only positive results are shown; there is a resistance to publishing interesting research that does not test hypotheses; p-hacking and other research malpractices have been documented way too many times; etc. This wicked problem puts a flourishing future of business schools in question. Dennis Tourish has been an inspiration to me and many others for calling this out.

    CHAT OUTLINE:
    [02:35] Some statistics about the crisis in management studies
    [05:20] Summary of the many interlinked problems behind the crisis in management studies (overemphasis of theory, questionable research practices, lack of relevant research, overemphasis of journals' impact factors, etc.)
