Dear SAP community members and practice scholars,
We would like to cordially invite you to the next edition of the Strategy as Practice Review Group (SAP-R) workshop. The half-day workshop will take place on April 28th, 2020 from 12-5pm at the following location: Aston University, Birmingham, B4 7ET UK.
What is SAP-R?
The objective of the SAP-R workshops is to draw from the cumulative knowledge of the strategy as practice community and its friends to jointly develop R&Rs and to discuss how to deal with editors’ and reviewers’ comments. In addition, a roundtable session provides space for constructive feedback on developing individual projects and early stage work.
What’s in it for me?
- Getting to know about latest work in the SAP field, associated challenges, and collectively developed solutions how to address them, especially learn about SAP-specific journal feedback (comments from the reviewers and editors)
- Present and discuss your own work during developmental round-tables
- Networking opportunities with established and emerging SAP scholars & friends (e.g. from practice studies), e.g. during lunch or dinner/ drinks
How does it work?
To register for the SAP-R workshop, please follow the link (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/93792336403) and submit the form. Please indicate whether you would like to share a roundtable submission. The workshop and its lunch are free. Transport and dinner are at your own expense.
Please note, Robert Chia will be delivering a talk at Aston before the SAP-R workshop. This will start at 10:30am and will focus on using a process approach to understand strategy practices and predispositions. Please indicate whether you would like to attend this optional pre-workshop talk when you register - all are welcome.
We look forward to seeing you all at Aston!
Kind regards, the organizing team
