ASQ Blog Virtual Research Discussion #3:
    "Publishing a Dissertation in a Top-Tier Journal"

Dissertations are the capstones of our academic training. They often represent our first contributions to the field, our favorite ideas, and years of effort. However, finished dissertations also vary in their format and style, making the path to publishing them unclear. Moreover, translating dissertations into articles for research journals-which often have stricter page limits, unique formatting preferences, and specific audiences-can be a daunting challenge.

In order to address this challenge, the organizers of The ASQ Blog are pleased to invite you to a virtual research discussion on Wednesday, May 18th from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time. We are thrilled to be joined by Christine Beckman-editor of ASQ-as well as three highly successful scholars who have published work stemming from their dissertations in ASQ. We hope you can join us as we learn about what it takes to go from dissertation to journal article(s), hear stories about the publication journey, and engage in breakout room discussions with our panelists.

Please RSVP here by May 11th to ensure you receive the Zoom link for the event.

We look forward to seeing you there!
