    Dear SAP Friends,

Join us at EGOS in Milan, Sub-theme 69: Strategy as Practice at the crossroads: Where to next?

Please note that our sub-theme is connected to a Special Issue at Organization Studies: The Future of Strategizing and Organizing as Practice: Extensions and Connections (Editors: Jarzabkowski, Kratochvil, Ma, Rouleau, Seidl) – more information soon online.

About the EGOS Sub-theme 69: Strategy-as-practice (SAP) is at a crossroads in what is studied, how it is studied, and by whom. We ask: Where to next? We are interested in conceptual, methodological, and empirical papers utilizing a range of theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches. In particular, we are keen to receive papers that provoke and extend what phenomena are studied in SAP research, by whom, and how these phenomena are theorized. These can include studies investigating societal and critical challenges, exploring new forms of strategizing and organizing, discovering new geographic contexts, and developing connections and dialogues with other research streams.
