Do you want an interactive experience at AOM whether you attend in person or virtually, then join us on Saturday, August 6 at 2:30p.m. – 4:30pm EDT for a PDW on Translating Theory into Practice: Organizations and the Future of Work (session 411).  All you need is a laptop and you will be co-creating and actively participating within a world café whether you are in person or attending virtually.  We have no lectures or listening to presentations.  You will be actively engaged in the activities and discussions of the PDW.  As you know, the framing of the "future of work" has grown in visibility and scope over the past few years. We will examine the accelerating changes impacting three frames of work - the work, the workplace, and the people/systems -- from different points-of-view. Using the World Cafe framework, participants will explore emergent change, frictions, and our own organizations. During this era of unprecedented instability, our core question will be how organizations and leaders can thrive in this changed landscape by embracing the future of work through new insights and capabilities.  We hope to see you there both in person and online.
