We hope you had a wonderful holiday break and New Year's.
We would like to remind everyone that the Third Annual ComplianceNet Conference (ComplianceNet 2020) will be held at University College London (UCL), June 29-30, 2020, with support from the UCL Department of Political Science/School of Public Policy and the UCL Global Governance Institute.
ComplianceNet 2020 promises to be an exciting and intellectually stimulating event, just as the first two conferences were. John Braithwaite will be accepting a Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions to understanding regulatory compliance; Benjamin Van Rooij will be reprising his inaugural lecture given at the University of Amsterdam; and current and former high-level practitioners from the UK government will be participating as well.
We welcome panel or paper proposals dealing broadly with the intersection between rules and human behaviour. Topics in previous ComplianceNet conferences have included regulatory governance, criminal justice reform, social policy, technology and public policy, and health care, among other topics examined by scholars across a wide range of disciplines (anthropology, business, criminology, economics, law, political science, public policy and administration, psychology and sociology, as well as others).
The deadline for submitting panels or papers is Friday, January 24th, 2020. You may submit panels or papers, and find the instructions for doing so here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/compliancenet-2020-tickets-75128297761 General information about the conference is available at: http://www.ComplianceNet.org
