Dear SAP community member,
I hope this finds you well. You would have likely received an email from the Academy of Management some days ago announcing the call for submissions for the AOM meetings scheduled to be held in Atlanta in 2017. I am following up on that call to personally urge you to consider submitting new and exciting PDW proposals to the Strategizing Activities and Practices (SAP) interest group for the coming year.
The professional development workshops (PDWs) at the AOM meetings offer vibrant platforms for scholars to engage more widely and deeply with each other's scholarly and pedagogic work. These workshops play a crucial role in helping scholars and SAP community members develop new professional relationships and spawn novel ideas in an open, friendly and supportive environment.
For AOM 2017, we are keenly interested in attracting new PDW organizers and novel and creative topics for the PDWs. The more submissions we get, the better will be the selection process and the resulting PDWs. For more information please see the following link - http://aom.org/annualmeeting/submission/call/sap/pdw/ The submission system for AOM 2017 will open on November 15th.
Please let me know if you require additional information/clarifications.
Sincerely,
Rajiv Nag
