    * Sorry for cross-postings; on behalf of Christina Wawarta and Krista Pettit*

    Dear all,

    We are excited to announce our second Doctoral and Early Career Program at AOM in Atlanta!  One of our primary goals is to familiarize early career researchers with the SAP community and encourage their involvement in community building through research and participation. To do this we need your help!

    In order to provide a personal and meaningful experience we are limiting the program to 20 participants.  We want to make sure we reach the 20 early career scholars who are genuinely interested in SAP research and community building.

    We are starting our promotion early this year as we know other interest groups such as OMT have events on the same day (Friday, August 3rd) and want to make sure potential participants have the information needed to apply to the most suitable program (ours of course).

    Can you take a moment and either forward the below email or if an appropriate place exists, post it internally so PhD students and early career scholars in your network are aware of this opportunity. Please feel free to customize as appropriate but we wanted to write a quick draft to minimize your investment of time.

    If you are running an EGOS sub-theme or are involved in the SAP day at EGOS can you forward to your sub-theme participants?  This year we want to incorporate targeted and personalized promotion along with the general promotion achieved through the SAP-IN homepage, newsletter and other venues that target all SAP members.

    We are attaching a one-page PDF with all the information needed for potential participants.

    Many thanks,

    Christina and Krista

    Dear potential SAP Doctoral and Early Career Program participant,

    Due to the overwhelming success of last year's program, the SAP Interest Group is running a one-day program for Doctoral and Early Career Researchers interested in SAP research.   We encourage applications from those interested in:

    ·       honing their research skills through 3 carefully selected PDWs;

    ·       receiving feedback on their research from an SAP mentor;

    ·       interacting with senior scholars through formal and informal events including a Q & A session with our program patron, Julia Balogun and dinner (fully sponsored for participants);

    ·       meeting and building your network of scholars who share similar research interests.

    Apply early as to ensure an intimate and impactful program we are limiting participation to 20 scholars.

    Please see the attached PDF for application instructions or refer to our article in the Spring SAP newsletter!

    Looking forward to seeing you in Atlanta!

    Warm regards,

    Christina and Krista
