    Dear colleagues,

I'm pleased to share some good news with you during this busy conference deadline season! Our 2015 Best Paper Prize Winners, Paula Jarzabkowski and Rebecca Bednarek, have just had their paper "Toward a Social Practice Theory of Relational Competing" accepted in SMJ. I think this is a wonderful achievement for the SAP community, demonstrates the quality of the work we produce, and shows that SAP research does get into top journals. Go SAP!

And, of course, congratulations to Paula and Rebecca!

I encourage everyone to read their excellent paper (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/smj.2724/abstract). It's a real victory for SAP to see this work appearing in SMJ:

I'm particularly proud that this paper was presented at AoM during my year at Program Chair... I dare say it benefited from the excellent feedback our interest group members provide! And, of course, this is a timely reminder of the quality of SAP work in the lead-up to our application for division status.

With best wishes for all of your R&Rs in Tier 1 journals
(And some festive cheer along the way),

    JANE LÊ
Past Chair, SAP Interest Group at AoM
