    PhD Course Structure

    The PhD track lasts 4 years for with first year students taking training courses across a range of topics as well as in research methodology.  Years 2 through to 4 are devoted to working on the PhD dissertation. Please refer to https://www.cass.city.ac.uk/study/phd/management

    Studentships

    We are also offering 15 PhD studentships comprising tuition fees and maintenance grant of £16,057 pa for four years, starting in October 2019. Studentships also offer funding for conference attendance, also for four years.<u1:p></u1:p>

    PhD studies take place in a stimulating intellectual environment that questions received wisdom and explores the boundaries of knowledge. Recent graduates have gone on to follow research and teaching careers in departments at leading institutions such as: ESCP-Europe Business School, France;  ETH Zurich, Switzerland; Norwegian School of Management, Norway; Queen Mary, University of London, England; Rotterdam School of Management, Netherlands; Tilburg University, Netherlands; University of Bath, England; Bocconi University, Italy; University of Cambridge, England; University of Oxford, England; Warwick Business School, England.
