POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER in Management and Organisation for a 3-year period starting 1.1.2015
As a Postdoctoral Researcher (Swedish postdoktoral forskare) you will conduct research in your own field of interest, both independently and/or in collaboration with members of the department. Teaching may be part of the responsibilities. You will be part in a group of highly active researchers with high productivity in publishing and with an international profile. The annual working time of teaching and research staff within the department is 1600 hours (full time). Successful applicants will be expected to:
conduct research that meets high international levels, publish your research in scholarly outlets and communicate the results of your work to the business community and society at large;
contribute to the research efforts and the development of new research capabilities of the department;
contribute successfully to the competence development of students by providing research-based teaching and supervision;
contribute to the development of the teaching capabilities of the department.
Applicants for the position are required to have a PhD degree completed, in M&O or a related area. Further, they should demonstrate academic competence, e.g. by showing a publication track record and pipeline, university teaching skills and experience, and participation in the international academic community. The successful applicant will be expected to have good knowledge of English. When assessing and comparing the qualifications of the applicants for the position, research merits are considered. The most competent applicants may be invited for a presentation and interview.
In accordance with the conditions established by the Foundation Stiftelsen Svenska Handelshögskolan, which is financing the position, special attention will be paid to applications from foreign citizens. Applicants from AACSB-accredited schools are valued.
The position is placed in the preliminary requirement category 6-7 for teaching and research personnel. In addition, a performance-based bonus may be added. The salary is about 3.846 - 4.896 € / month depending upon qualifications and individual performance.
