Dear SAP IG members,
The current executive group of the Strategizing Activities and Practices Interest Group of the Academy of Management wishes to thank you for an exceptional year. We continue to grow in members, host invigorating discussions, and connect with divisions and scholars across the Academy. Thank you for your membership and participation in the SAP IG group!
We encourage you to connect with the Interest Group at the 2016 Annual AOM Meeting in Anaheim, California. Please submit your papers, symposia as part of our Scholarly Program and PDW proposals by January 12 (5p.m., ET New York time) HERE.
One innovation for next year: We are planning a "virtual doctoral consortium" on Friday at the 2016 Academy. This will include coordinated social activities and PDWs of interest to doctoral students and early stage scholars. More news about this and other SAP IG activities in the new year.
The success of our Interest Group's Scholarly Program very much depends on as many members as possible signing up as reviewers. The more members signing up, the less review work each reviewer will need to do. Even if you are not intending to submit to or attend AOM 2016, we very much encourage you to sign up as a reviewer, too. Our strength as a community comes from as many of us as possible participating as fully as possible to lighten the load for everyone. We very much hope you'll join the 60 members who have already signed up, such that we have more than enough reviewers available to ensure a successful review process. (To give a sense of how many reviewers are needed, AOM 2015 saw some 145 members sign up to review for our Interest Group.)
