We are seeking to appoint a high-calibre individual at either the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Strategy & Organization subject group within the Management Department of Leeds University Business School (LUBS). The school is internationally renowned for the quality of its research, its teaching, and its facilities. LUBS is positioned as one of the UK's leading business schools for research and impact power. As a triple accredited, top-ranking European business school, it has more than 3000 students from around 100 countries and more than 200 academic staff. Its work covers the full spectrum of business disciplines, creating new knowledge and teaching undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students.
The S&O group and the affiliated Centre for Technology Innovation and Engagement (C-TIE) are the focal points for strategy-related research and education at LUBS. With its collegial and vibrant team of scholars, the S&O group aspires to become one of the leading faculties working at the intersections of strategic management, organisational theory, and innovation management. For the position that has opened, we are looking for a well-rounded academic who has published, or has potential to publish, in top-tier journals and can contribute to the group's reputation for excellent teaching and engagement with practice. While we are open to considering applications from candidates with interest in any strategy subfield, we have preference for those specialising in one of the following areas: corporate leadership and governance; corporate strategy; competitive strategy; knowledge and innovation management; strategic management of sustainable business practices and/or diversity, equity, and inclusion.
