ELGAR ENCYCLOPEDIA OF STRATEGY AS PRACTICE: GET INVOLVED!
Invitation to Help Finalise the List of Entries and Nominate Additional Authors

As previously announced, we are currently developing the Encyclopedia of Strategy as Practice with Edward Elgar Publishing. This Encyclopedia will consist of a range of entries on key terms and topics in Strategy as Practice. We as editorial team - Benjamin Grossmann-Hensel, Paula Jarzabkowski, Renate Kratochvil, David Seidl, Paul Spee, and Richard Whittington - will coordinate the development and review of entries for this volume. The Encyclopedia is meant to complement the Cambridge Handbook of Strategy as Practice. Compared to the handbook, the encyclopedia will have many more and much shorter entries (1000-3000 words; see this link for further information).

Since launching this project, we collected various suggestions for entries and authors to be included in this Encyclopedia from many of you. Based on your suggestions, we created a tentative list of more than 150 entries and authors. We are currently in the process of soliciting potential authors to write specific entries. The next step is now to finalise this list without omitting important topics and authors.

We invite you to give us feedback on the current version of the table of entries. Please let us know if you miss certain topics in this list. In addition, please indicate if you want to suggest additional authors (including yourself) for specific entries not yet allocated.

Please click on this link and provide us with your feedback and potential nominations by July 7th:

Once we have finalised the list of entries, we will contact all confirmed authors with more detailed guidelines on the further procedure. We kindly ask for a first submission of all entries by December 2023.

Thank you very much for all your feedback.

Please feel free to contact us if you have further questions:
