We are delighted to announce the 2nd PREP conference. PREP engages a thriving community of paradox scholars in conversations about research, education and practice. This international conference offers a cross-disciplinary home for researchers, educators and practitioners across disciplinary and professional boundaries, and who share a passion for understanding and embracing paradox in work, life, and society.

No conference fee for PREP, only your travel, food and lodging if you participate in a regional meeting in parallel with the virtual conference.

PREP offers a mix of abstract presentations, symposia, workshops, and keynote presentations that encompass paradox theory, research, education and practice. We will also be honouring members for their contributions to building the paradox scholar community.
There is a number of ways that you can present your ideas and share your experiences, including:
· New ideas on paradox theory and research. We invite you to present your brand-new ideas on paradox theorizing, emerging research ideas from initial stages of data collection, or new ideas that hope to revive past paper ideas. We welcome all disciplinary influences and methodological approaches, as long as they connect to paradox. In addition, this year we additionally offer round tables for papers aiming for submission to the special issue at AMLE.
· Educational insights. We invite you to share insights from your experience teaching about paradox or using paradox for teaching at all levels of education. We welcome tools, methods, practices, and designs aimed at teaching paradox to students (at all levels) and practitioners, and ways to introduce paradox theory and the notion of tensions as an approach to understanding learning more broadly. We welcome contributions to all aspects of education, from design to delivery, and at all levels of tertiary education.
· Practice insights. We invite you to share insights from your experience working at the boundaries of paradox research and practice. Specifically, we are looking for impact cases of paradox research on practice, examples of research translations for practice, and innovative research-practice collaborations such as those related to action research. We welcome submissions from scholars, practitioners, scholar-practitioners, and scholars and practitioner teams.
Conference format: The main part of the conference is online as before. In addition, colleagues around the globe offer regional meetings that are an integral part of the virtual part for those who want to enjoy physical encounters:
Submission Procedure: Please submit your 500-word abstract for each of the above (more than one is possible) here: Submission form. Please note, that we will only accept PDF abstracts that enter through the link and provide the following information on the cover page: Author names, and affiliation, title of the abstract, indication of track (research, education, practice).
