In August 2025, 31 teams bravely set out to participate in a two-stage "teaching contest" organized by Alex Christian, Fannie Couture, Paul Spee, and Matthias Wenzel. Central to this contest was to engage the global SAP community in the development and sharing of teaching innovations. As the stats in the upcoming newsletter show, this goal has been accomplished.

The results are in: There are two winning teams! The members of the teaching initiative as well as the executive committee congratulate

Natalia González-Salazar and Martha Eugenia Reyes-Sarmiento

SAP: Simulation for Actionable Practice (in English and Spanish)

    and

John Fernando Macías-Prada and Martha Eugenia Reyes-Sarmiento

Lived Strategy: "Family Futures" as a Laboratory for Strategic Practice and Future Making in Business Families (in English and Spanish)

We also gratefully acknowledge the finalists and honorable mentions:

    Further Finalists

    Mattia Anesa, Corinna Galliano, and
    Jean-Pascal Gond

    Lucy Caines and Jonas Spengler

    Honorable mentions

    Patia McGrath

    Mazi Raz and Krista Pettit

Martha Eugenia Reyes-Sarmiento and María Andrea De Villa

The produced teaching materials are amazing, covering a broad range of contents (divesture, business families, economies of worth, fiction, etc.) and formats (games, scenario techniques, video-based teaching, etc.). You find the teaching materials of the winners, finalists, and honorary mentions here. We thank all teams for their participation! Stay tuned for more teaching stuff to come in 2026 and beyond.
