We are excited to invite you to the panel "Beyond Competitive Advantage: Formulating and Implementing Strategies for Impact" at the Annual Meeting of The Strategic Management Society in San Francisco this coming weekend.
Some strategies aim for strategic impact-how organizations contribute to broader societal, technological, and environmental shifts. Examples are DEI and sustainability. These strategies are not just about competition but about long-term relevance, purpose, and responsiveness to societal expectations, regulatory changes, and disruptive forces. However, do such strategies merely follow trends, or do they create substantial strategic impact for firms and their environments? How are such strategies formulated, implemented, and adapted over time? When and how do these strategies enter organizations? Which strategies have companies worked on in the last years, and which ones are to follow?
Our fabolous panelists Theresa Langenmayr, Brian Chung, Olga Hawn and Jasjit Singh will explore these questions drawing on their own research.
